Trojan virus/worm

Hi i have try to find a topic on this sorta of thing i may have over looked it or i am just blind s this is why i am posting this. as i run avast antivirus i keep getting what looks to be the same thing over and over again (Win32: Trojan-gen) is the name of it " i think" but in the bottom of the screen it pops up C:\windows\system32\__c00229.dat contains a sampe of win32: Trojan-gen. so nmatter how many times i keep hitting delted or move to chest it keeps comig up so i am at a loss as what to do can someone explain to me how to get rid of this as i am semi good at computers but viruses i am not good at
