Tech help from SpyHunter(Enigma Software Group) says I have a Trojan residing in the logon part of my system called winlogon/notify & is locked by the system blocking its removal. Skipping to bottom line they say I have to do a system repair from the xp instalation CD to kill the Trojan core then the SpyHunter software can remove the shell.

Laptop did not come with a CD when new. Manual says to use Windows System Restore or Dell PC Restore.

Will these System Restores work with this virus or should I(can I) buy a Windows XP CD from Microsoft just in case.
