I have a Sony Vaio laptop that I use for Photoshop work. I have only just bought this machine.

On my previous machine I used a device called a Spyder (Express2), which set the colours displayed accurately.

I have tried to use this n the Sony, but the Sony machine uses Adobe Gamma for colour control. This seems to be over-riding the settings the Spyder is trying to implement.

Is it possible to switch off the Adobe Gamma system? Indeed is this what is needed?
