I have A LOT of images in my word document. They appear to be in a gif format. I need to change the format of all the images to, for example, jpg. Is there some way to do this? I don't want to go manually through all the images and take screenshots and that stuff..

Thanks in advance!

Try copying them into Paintbrush, then from Paintbrush, save as a jpeg.

Then you should be able to reimport them into your word document and they'll be a lot smaller.

So there is no quick and dirty trick to do this? I have to go through each image one by one and reimport them to the document..? I can't somehow grab all the images and change the format with photoshop and then cast them back to the document?

Not that I know of - but I don't profess to know everything.

You might be able to grab hold of them with Visual Basic, modify them on the fly and paste them back in - but it's a complex route and you'd probably end up taking more time tweaking the code than doing it the other way.
