Would like an expert to examine my computer for problems

My computer is a Compaq running XP Home. I update and run Spybot and Avast frequently. Doing so has kept my computer up and running. However, I am concerned that as newest malware etc. becomes more malicious and insidious, my computer may fall prey. Could someone perform a preventative examination of my computer so if there are imminent difficulties, I might have a heads up?
