How would i go about repairing this or getting the data off? The USB Stem ( the part that connects to the usb ) broke off so now i can't connect it to the pc.

Don't know if it's worth the expense but a USB extension cable could be used by cutting off one end and using a coldheat soldering gun to reconnect to the connections.

A standard soldering iron is impractible to use( at least it was for me).

would it be possible just to solder back the originial stem? it was a clean break
