This is a cry for help. My laptop is infected with a number of viruses and spyware.
I have been running a number of anti-virus and spyware removal packages, but they keep ‘returning’ and I can’t seem to remove them permanently.

My own fault for letting someone else use my laptop.

I could do with some help, thanks in advance.
Apologies for the length of the posting.

The removal packages I’ve been using are Spyware Doctor, Norton Internet Security / Anti Virus, Spybot Search and Destory 3.1, XoftSpy, Microsoft AntiSpyware, Ad-Aware SE, SpySubtract – CWS Shredder, SpySubtract.

I have been using the ‘full scan’ option, deleting and removing as required.
Even after running all of them, one after the other, they return.

I have also run the scans in ‘safe mode’, but they keep coming back.

Each of the different scans identify different ‘infections’.
For the purpose of this posting I have scanned with each package but did not delete or remove anything. I have the details of all the scans.

Below is a summary of the scan results :

Spyware Doctor : 10 Infections found
Common Components for TIBS dialers (WebSiteViewer)(6 Registry; 1 File)
CWS (2 Registry)
CWS.XPSystem (1 File)

Norton Anti Virus : 4 Infections found
Dialer.WSV (125788.exe, 125788[1].exe, Dc1.exe, dload.exe)

Spybot 2 : 2 infections
TIBS (WebSiteViewer) (1 Program Directory; 1 User Settings)

XoftSpy : 4 Infections found
TIB Browser (WebSiteViewer) (1 Registry Key; 1File)
Trojan/CWS Combo (1 Registry Key)
Coulomb Dialer (1 File)

MicroSoft AntiSpyware : 5 Infections found
Tibs.BrowserPlugin (Dialer)
Spyware.Melksoft (Browser Modifier)
Unclassified.Trojan.Downloader.43 (Trojan Downloader)
Trojan.inedata (Trojan)
Security iGuard (Under Investigation)

Ad-Aware SE : 4 Infections
TIB Browser (WebSiteViewer)(3 Registry; 1 Folder)

SpySubtract – CWS Shredder
‘CoolWebSearch was not found on your system.’ (????)

SpySubtract : 9 Registry infections, 3 File and Directories infections found
TIB (WebSiteViewer) (2 Registry; 1 File)
Effective-I Inc. (1 Registry)
Ez-Finder (2 Registry)
IWantSearch (4 Registry)
KeyGen.us TeaM (2 Files)

I have fixed or deleted most of these items many times over the last month / six weeks, but they keep returning.
