I recently bought a Kodak EasyShare G610 Printer Dock and installed the software that came with it. The problem is that my computer won't/can't recognize the new printer dock. I have Windows 2000 Professional (Work Computer) and have talked to my work's tech support and Kodak tech support, and they have been no help whatsoever. Can u please help me??

I can't help you with your specific problem - but I can tell you this - I installed the Kodak software on my pc and eventually had to remove it altogether as it attempted to take over my entire pc.

It was also a major pain transferring photos from camera to computer.

I recently bought a Canon and their software is SO much more user friendly.

get PICASA 2 here...when you install it ...it will as if you want it to search your computer for photos...say yes..
after it is installed ....plug in your camera and picasa will just grab them for you..

Well, my problem has more to do with printing the photos. The photos have transferred to my computer quite simply, but the Kodak EasyShare Software won't recognize it's own printer dock?!?!?!? Any suggestions besides taking a picture of my G610, then smashing the G610 onto the picture?

Have you tried deleting it in device manager, then rebooting to let Windows reinstall it?
