Ok, I see what the issue is. I need some more info:

please download WinAudit
Once downloaded, please install.

Please view the flash video on how to use WinAudit

After the audit has finished, please click the + symbol next to HARDWARE DEVICES and then the + symbol next to SOUND VIDEO AND GAME CONTROLLERS. Then they will have to click on the item listed under SOUND, VIDEO AND GAME CONTROLLERS. On the left side of the screen You will see the information pertaining to your Sound Card.

Optionally you could save the audit and attach the report in your next post.

who makes your computer?

Please go to WinAudit and Save the audit. When you reply to this post, please attach the full audit to this post. When replying, you can add the attachement by the "manage attachements" feature located just below and right of the dialogue box.

The information that i need is found under the "system overview" section.

wow!

ok, lets try this:

1) go to start, run and enter dxdiag
2) give it a bit to run. When it pops up, click the Save Information button at the bottom
3) make a note of where you save the text file.
4) attach it in your next reply.
