Well I upgraded from 2 to 4 gigs of memory yesterday. Turned on my comp and I got a usb error saying "USB device not recognized" (I have an external USB Hub in which all of my stuff is plugged into). Mouse, keyboard, and my EXT HDD were all not working.

Unplugged them from the hub and put them directly into the back of my comp. Mouse worked fine, keyboard fine, but my ext HDD still will not show up. Either nothing happens or i get an error saying the usb device is not recognized.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Take the memory back out and see what happens.
