Hi Guys,
I just bought my wife the 1000h and want to reinstall windows on it, but i dont want to buy an external drive just for that.
can someone please advise me if/how this is possible via a network?

Not possible bearing in mind you'd need network access during Windows Setup which is not guaranteed. Only sure fire way of doing it is via an external drive. Don't forget the Asus EEE don't have any built-in CD units being solid-state drives so for writing CDs the external drive would be useful.
