I was recently updating to a newer version of 'Spybot search and destroy' when during the reboot my computer flashed blue then black. Before this it was running Perfect. Every time I try to turn it on, As soon as the Windows xp Loading screen opens, The screen Flashes Blue and then goes to A reboot screen with the following options. Safe Mode, Last known Configuration, Start Windows Normally. I Tried all these with no luck. I don't know how to fix this when I cant even get into my computer. I disabled automatic reboot, so I could see the error message that flashed on the blue screen. It is as follows

0x00000024 (0x00190203, 0x8A8A8940, 0xC0000102, 0X00000000)

I do not have an Xp Boot cd, However I did have a toshiba recovery cd, that has not worked. My whole life is on that computer and I know shame on me for not backing it up, trial by fire I guess.

My recovery cd said deleting Qosmio Player, I hope I didn't erase all my files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Computer; Toshiba Qosmio G15R
Windows Xp

Normally, beside this:
0x00000024 (0x00190203, 0x8A8A8940, 0xC0000102, 0X00000000)
the error mentions some file being at fault. What is it?

My recovery cd said deleting Qosmio Player

Say again?

Technical Information:

***Stop: 0x00000024 (0x00190203, 0x8A8A8940, 0xC0000102, 0X00000000)

That is all the Blue screen has on it. One of the options on my Toshiba recovery Cd was delete qosmio player, But nothing seemed to occur, Like a fool I franticallyI tried both options. After choosing the delete, two or three seconds went by the disk ejected and computer restarted just to fail again instantly. No icons popped saying deleting files, or are you sure you want to do this, and not more than a two or three seconds elapsed in the whole process. Regardless I just want my computer back. Any info would be much appreciated

So, no matter what mode you use, it stops at Windows loading screen, and then reboots, correct?
If so...
The above error, most likely, indicates problem with ntfs.sys file, which is one of the most crucial system files.
You say, you don't have Windows CD, and this is a huge problem.
You have two options:
1. Borrow Windows CD from a friend too run some repair steps.
2. Hook up your hard drive as a slave in another computer to retrieve your data.

ntfs.sys is a driver, which allows system (Windows) to read, and write to your hard drive.
