Directdraw 3D problems

Well, I recently I had to reformat my pc. I did everything correctly, got all the right/newest drivers installed, but now I'm having serious issues. I tried to play Myst 4, but it froze my whole pc on startup. In WC3, I'm getting scratchy video or freezing.
I went into dxdiag and it said there were no problems, but when I tested Directdraw 3D, my pc froze after the demo.

Also when I start up my computer, I get an error saying my master drive is "BAD" and needs replacing.
Anyone have any ideas? Thank you for the help. =)
