I really need help with this. I've been trying to put a music video onto my daughters (chinees)mp4 player for 3 days now...It seems you have to convert this and download that... so far I've downloaded AMV converter, AMV player, Xilisoft converter, Divix Codec-converter and player, Movavi video converter 6.3...I also downloaded realplayer, quicktime...plus the disc that came with this (cheap) mp4 player for the amv converter...

So through alot of effort I found this website that will convert the videos (say from youtube or wherever) to go onto your mp4 player. You just put in the URL, and it converts it and sends it to you through email.

So now I have the "converted video that we chose, on the Movavi video converter 6.3. The choices next were to "join" or "convert", so I chose convert, and then beside the video it said "converting" which took an hour and a half, and showed a downloading bar, and the whole time the mp4 player was plugged in, and lit up like it was taking this download. After the converting was finnished, it said "converted"....I checked on the mp4 player to see if the video was there in the movie section, and it showed the name of the video, but when you press play, it said "format error"....

What am I doing wrong? How do you get videos onto an mp4 player?

Can someone please please walk me through what I'm supposed to do with this thing....please help.

Thank you

Without knowing what player you have or what software you're using to import the mp4 file into the player, it's near impossible to help you.

Players like the ipod uses the iTunes application to import media. It can be a simple drag and drop operation where you simply drag and drop the file into the iTunes library then upload it to the ipod. Simple.

If you have an application for your player, you should be able to do this. Or your app may have a specialized way to import files into it's library. However, like I mentioned, without know what you have, there is no way to guess how to help you.

I want to buy one MP4 player. And there are so many choices now. I do not know which one is best. Could you give me some recommendation?

I need to buy 8GB big screen MP4 player at 80-100USD which supports several files such as MP3, MPEG4, AVI, WMA, WAV, JPEG.

Please kindly help me and let me know where I can find. Thanks.
