I have an ongoing problem with my Internet browser, both IE7 and Firefox. When I visit certain sites such as Amazon.co.uk, several spurious URLs will appear in my browser history so that if I press the back button on the browser nothing visibly happens. Examples of the URLs are "feeds.adzones.com", "ad uk doubleclick.net". I have to press the button several times to get back to the last valid page.
Also although a page such as Amazon will load successfully, a small part of the page will say "unable to connect..."
I have run updated versions of Mcaffee Virusscan, Adaware and Spybot in safe mode but still my problem persists.
I have followed the procedure in "You must read this befor posting..."
