The easist thing to do is open firefox and save all your links to a file in the documents folder. Open the bookmarks manager, click on file, export and save the bookmarks.html file.

Then get on the internet and save the latest version of firefox to a folder somewhere. Now, go to control panel, programs and uninstall Firefox. When it gets done, reboot the computer and find the firefox download and double click on it to install.

If you still have the same problem of double windows it's a windows problem and not firefox.

The Vundo virus caused your problem....it wasn't Vista! :)

i had the venudo trojan virus and i think i deleted it

There is no way that you can just 'delete' that infection. You will need help to get rid of it.
