Yes, if you can get one that is compatible with your motherboard. P4 is considered old but I guess you can find either new or a used one, which may be as good as new.

I just pulled the ram again and reconnected and get no beeps any more except the normal start up beep.
The mother board only has 2 additional channels which are already taken. One is a different sound card I installed because the old card on the mother fried and the other is an ethernet card to connect to router and internet.
Can the video card on the mother be replaced or is there some sort of expansion plug in that will accept both a new video card and the ethernet card or sound card?

I think I'll get a USB Ethernet adapter and go get a video card I can plug into the pci slot.
We'll see what happens then :)
