Hi

I have been given an IPC TopNote F 219 laptop without a hard disk and need to know what is going to be compatible I have tried googling this make of and there very little info Hope someone can help

Laptop hard drives come in 2 sizes usually. The 9.5 mm is used more than the 12.5 mm(height) drives. Unless you need a special adapter( like the older Dell laptops, all you really will need is a HD caddy that fits. Laptop drive's are 44 pin type like this.

About halfway dowm at this website is the pins on a standard laptop drive( 44 pins)

A few laptops do not even have caddy's. So just about any normal laptop drive should fit. Be aware that since there is so little information on the IPC laptops, parts will be hard to find, and problem computer's will cost too much to really try fixing.
