Linpus seems to have a lot of server issues. I've seen mention of several times they are unreachable at other groups.
It's good that you are willing to pay for Linux but if you're looking for a Linux Media Center why not get Linux MCE or MythTV has some nice features also.

Yes, thats the Thing realy, I did try LinuxMCE, thats the reason i started looking for MCE OS, in the first plase. LinukMCE.org dosen't work with my Hardware, mythTV i thougt only was a part of LinuxMCE for the acutal TV part of LinuxMCE.

Besides, Linpus did come back to me, think they have been restoring there servers now. Seems like they are sending me a CD :)

MythTV can be installed on top of most Distros. Mythubuntu should work nicely. I'd use the 8.04.x since based on Ubuntu LTS. MythDora is based on Fedora. KnoppMyth has a Debian core (Knoppix).

I can understand how frustrated with trying to contact Linpus - and you got much further than I have managed to!! Does anyone know where to download the iso??

Links for MCE on Linpus page go nowhere - links on Distrowatch are dead etc, etc.

Love to try out this distro if only I could find it!!!
