Hi,

Just installed a new 36GB SATA Raptor and the system is lagging at bootup. It gets up to verifying DMI Pool and takes forever. Tried reinstalling windows a few times. Also hangs long at starting windows screen with the loading bar. This is the first SATA drive that has been installed in the system. It's an onboard SATA controller with raid in which raid is not currently being used. System is a 2.8ghz and 1g ram, 128 meg video card, and am running IDE devices as well. Power supply is a 400 Watt. Please let me know if there are any suggestions, only thing that has been considered really is a bad Motherboard...

Thanks
