Updating Windows XP

I try clicking on the "Express Install" at http://v5.windowsupd...t.aspx?ln=en-us

but all I get is "Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot display the requested page."

Help!

You get that if you try to run it in Mozilla 1.78. :tazz: (Just tried)

Is IE your browser here?? It has to be to get into Windows Updates.. It won't let you in if you are running any other browser..

Some computers only allow the Administrator account to access Windows Update. Is this a problem that started recently? (Could you get to the site before?)

If yes, has anything changed, new programs, drivers, etc...????

actually it is windows update that checks to see if you have admin privileges, it won't run if you don't.
