I have data on a spreadsheet that I want to merge into a word document. When I do this it takes the data (which are numbers in currency format) and in the merged fields on the word document it puts 10 decimal places in, although it is only to 2 decimal places on the spreadsheet. As the spreadsheet is rounded to 2 decimal places, I tried a couple of entries on a new spreadsheet just typing in the numbers ie 231.23 rather than the formula calculating it as 231.226789 and rounding it to 2 decimal places. However, when I merged it with the word doc, it still came out with 10 decimal places even though there is no way it could have got this from the spreadsheet! Any ideas before I go mad???
