My game is freezing constantly

I did try to post this in the games forum but havent gotten a response for a few days now and I really need some help. I'm trying to play Warcraft III on my laptop and its constantly freezing.

It's a decent laptop, only 32 meg vid card ( Geforce 5900 I think ) but 3.0 gig processer with 512 ram.
I cant figure out what it is. Every time I play, it completely freezes within 15-20 minutes or so...
I'm assuming its the video card or video card settings. I'm sure someone here that doesnt even play WC will be able to help. I've tried a few things but there must be something I havent thought of.
I've tried to tone down my hardware acceleration and even update direct x
