Hi Everyone

I have a Dell Dimension 4100 that all of a sudden started to continuously recycle - to go from Dell logo, to Windows 2000 start up, to Stop notice that last only a second and I have been unable to read. and repeat. It was previously working okay and I have no idea what happened or what to do about it.
It does not go into a usable 'safe mode.'

Can anyone assist?

Ooh a computer that throws itself away and reuses bits of itself in other computers - that's a very environmentally friendly computer. :)
You do of course mean your computer is looping. Least, I hope you do :)

Keep pressing F8 to get to the boot screen and select the option to disable automatic restart. You'll then be able to read the blue Stop screen.
