I'm having big problems with my not getting on to some websites I have been trying for 2 weeks now to work out why I'm getting this. I'm on a satellite connection and have just upgraded to a faster speed modem and dish and since I did this I have not been able to get on some websites like myspace or facebook just to name a couple. My java stops loading after a few lines like lang4 whatever that means or it says on the script error object not found. It seems like its java based but I've tried uninstalling that and reinstalling it and still the same. Even this site has an error saying object required I never used to have any problems like this. I don't know what it could be any help would be greatly appreciated I'm just at a loss now as to what else to try. I have been in contact with my satellite comp and they are saying they have not blocked anything and that if my previous one worked on the sites this one should too.

When you install Java, does it install fine?
Did you try to access those sites in Safe Mode with Networking?
What kind of security programs (AV, firewall) are you using?
