This error only occurs when I try to plugin my ipod via usb cable, and i've already attempted trouble shooting through Apple.

Whenever i plug it in, It'll ask for me to install "Apple Mobile Device Driver", which is pre-included with iTunes.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes countless times, even old versions and no luck.

Everytime i asked for Windows to "Search for driver automatically" It would pop up this error:

"Windows could not load the installer for WPD. Contact your hardware vendor
for assistance".

And I have no clue what to do. I`ve had my ipod for awhile now and have successfully connected it before. Ideas?
