E-mail Spell Check

My e-mail automatic spellcheck results in the spellcheck window being blank with a message in the bottom bar stating "error on page." When I close the window (x) the message or reply gets sent but the recipient gets no message, just a blank e-mail from me. If I unable the auto spellcheck everything works fine. The spellcheck on Microsoft Word works fine. It's just the e-mail spellcheck that is not working. Any ideas how to fix? My computer is in good working order; don't need to do any maintenance; plenty of space left.
