My computer stopped working 2 days ago. I was on the internet until the computer just froze, so I pressed the restart button on the PC. After that, it showed a screen with this message:

We apologize for the inconvenience, but windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this...

Please choose:

Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Last Known Good Configuration
Start Windows normally
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I chose all of those options, but nothing seems to work. It is unable to pass Windows XP loading screen....

*I do not have Windows XP CD, so that repair option doesn't work.

If anyone could please help me, I'd appreciate it very much. Thank you.

Howdy:

You will need to find your XP cd as you will need it to get into the Recovery Console to effect a fix.

Where is it?

^ i've misplaced it somewhere, i can't find it... is there another option?

Btw. i just turned my computer on after cleaning the fan and this time it passes the windows loading page, but then it goes to a full black screen afterward.

Nope. Suggest you find it or go out and buy a new one.
