I have recently installed windows vista on my machine. Usually, when I turn the computer on, my computer will automatically look for wireless networks; will find my internet and connect automatically.

However, after the upgrade, when I turn my computer on, it will say local access only. Then I have to turn off the modem and the router. Then, turn them back on. After this, the computer will connect automatically.

I have to do this everytime I need to use the internet. Is there a way for me to connect to the internet automatically without restarting the modem and the router?

Thank you.
