I dont know if this is the correct forum to post this. I recently moved and got Comcast High Speed Internet. In order to use it, I have to connect to the modem and upload software from a CD. I put the CD in and it loads. One of the first steps in the wizard is to connect to the modem. When it attempts to connect, it says there is no connection. My brother is able to connect to the modem using the same cord that I am using. I have had no problem connecting to a modem in the past. Does anyone know what may be the problem. Comcast was absolutely no help when I called. They were more concerned with getting me to sign up for telephone service.
