Best application to capture scrolling windows

Hello :)

for whatever reason mi snagit stopped working and now every capture it makes is a black screen. I need to make frequent captures of scrolling windows to show my clients their stats. what other program would you recommend, if possible freeware, if not I'll pay whatever it costs

have you tried removing and reinstalling snag-it?

Thanks for the answer

yes I've tried to delete-reinstall it several times, and I even posted a topic on the snagit forums and followed all the steps on that page you provided without any result

The problem is so far I havent found a good capture program that could capture scrolling windows

Well after uninstalling kaspersky (KAV7), snagit magically worked again, and now I can capture scrolling windows like I used to.

Perhaps this "solution" can help someone out there who is as lost as I was and is using KAV.

That is an interesting solution. I might suggest avg or avast as alternatives to KAV.
