Sorry i don't know any specific infection which affects my computer but when i turn it on, sometimes it goes straight to the BSoD and states.

0x0000008E (0xc0000005, 0x0a040006, 0xef240ac8, 0x00000000)

I have followed the hi-jack thread & have performed all the specific's if that is what is needed.

Thanks Iain.

I have solved that now but i get:

Through my AVG Anti-virus it says remove an infection and the directory says Fake Antispyware and i don't know how to get rid of it. I have a red circle with a white cross through it in the task bar. Also it says on my antivirus

Potentially Unwanted Program

File name: C:\\WINDOWS\system32\wini104552663.exe

Threat name: Potentially harmful program Fake_AntiSpyware.AEI

Any help will be greatly appreciated,

Iain
