Solifugae also have long pedipalps, which function as sense organs similar to insects' antennae and give the appearance of the two extra legs.


I thought they were legs too :)

OK, I was going to second Children of the Corn but I think that picture of the solafugee-whatever-thingy won. I don't think I've ever seen a moving picture that creeped me out as much as that one still. Is that thing for real, I mean are they really that freaking big??? I had a pet tarantula once that I got to help me get past my fear of spiders, but I don't think any exercise could help me get past the idea of encountering that thing.
