Hello all,

Upon boot-up of this Dell laptop I received a BSoD error when the initial programs were trying to load on.

I recorded the following:

0X0000008E (0XC0000005, 0X899DBEE3, 0XB2096870, 0X00000000)

Note: This is a Windows XP computer with SP3, just fully reformatted 3 weeks ago and new memory added at the same time as the format.

Hi

Were you experiencing this problem prior to adding more ram & the reformat or has it only happened since then?

Samm,

thanks for your help, but I figured it out.

Hard-drive was on it's way to passing out.

Have a great one.
