I recently received my mom's laptop because my desktop quit working. Anyway it runs extremely slow... it takes minutes for anything to work. Also certain websites wont work. for instance i can't get google to search. can get to download.com.... i'm in safe mode right now and the computer works great.... i could use your help in restoring this laptop.... i'm downloading hijackthis and malwarebytes.... so as soon as someone can help ill get them those

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.
