Couldnt connect to Windows Update

I recently had successfully removed two virus /trojan from my system. Since then i couldnt update the windows. When i goto the site windowsupdate.microsoft.com, the page gets directed to msn.com. It happens in both Firefox and IE. I dont have any problem with other sites. This wite works well in the other OS vista
