I have recently added WinPatrol as recommended in Geekstogo's page on recommended anti-spyware products.

It has been working happily away, warning me when things get changed. However for the last couple of days, it has taken to barking 3 times, every 3 or 4 minutes. No message is produced on screen, and I can't see anything in the various lists that explains what it thinks is the problem. The only thing I can think is that it dislikes iTunes or Google Updater, which I installed around the same time as the warnings started.

Any ideas?

Are you using Google's Chrome browser? Chances are it hasn't been updated to accommodate it.
