Hi Folks,

I have replied in this thread, but did not get subscription notification when the OP posted earlier this evening.
I happened across the thread again while browsing and noticed the reply.
I figured I was subscribed.
But I checked the Thread Options anyway.
It "did' say that I was already subscribed.

But alas, no notification. :)

Thanks for any help,
Doug

Hi Doug! What email client are you using? Yahoo? Gmail?

Since the server move, we've had some issues with email notifications. Blair and DeviousTrap are working hard to get those corrected. :)

I'm using an online account with ATT Yahoo.
the domain is @sbcglobal.net

I was receiving notifications during the time-period when Wannabe1 was adjusting my user designation, but no longer since I've been Visiting Consultant. Maybe that's a clue.
For instance, Wannabe1 replied to a "if you need a moderator" post that I made earlier this evening, but I did not get notification.
And I did not get notification of your reply here in Feedback Forum.
In both cases, I noticed the reply by browsing the main board index or would never have know you replied.

Been to any races lately?
I know you've been working hard and attending some top level conferences.
Hope you're getting some fun time too.

We're working through an issue getting topic reply notifications to be accepted by mostly Yahoo and Gmail, but there may be others. I don't think we'll lose any, but when they start, they may come in a flood.

Thanks for looking in on the situation Kat.
And thanks for the info, Boss.
I won't be having many threads to follow for a while and will hope to check them manually until the Board changes get straightened out.
I know these kinds of things occur, especially when upgrading the board software or changing servers.

I've also noticed that my posting is very "laggy".

I'm on a single-core Compaq 2.x machine with plenty of RAM, running XP Pro, and connected via decent DSL.
But once I finish typing a reply, there is a lag long enough to go to the other end of the house to refill my coffee.
Not having any general browsing problems here or other locations, just when posting a reply.

Maybe that will shake out in time too. :)

Sadly, no. I never got to a single race this year, which is a bummer. I've been very busy all summer, as well as dealing with some things at home. Not much time for fun, but I do what I can. Went fishing the other day. :)

Have you checked your spambox, or tried adding [email protected] (whatthtech) to your contacts? I'm afraid my only other answer at this time is to use another email address. Every ISP has their own filtering methods. We're using a valid SPF record, and signed DomainKey on all outbound mail. There's not a lot more we can do to ensure delivery -- outside of some expensive certificates. To my knowledge all Yahoo mail is being delivered to the inbox. Gmail and Hotmail is also delivering in my tests. I haven't received any other complaints.

Admin,
Thanks for all of your energy and efforts, as well as for the several excellent suggestions of things I can do at this end.
I have carefully followed and implemented each suggestion.

AT&T does not have a "safe sender" designation list, but I have listed the following into my contacts
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]

I've spent a few hours in online text chat with AT&T tech assistance - no help
I've called AT&T phone tech support - no help

Maybe it's time to get my first Hotmail account.
Hey! It's not just a Forum, it's an adventure! :)

Thanks Admin, for working things out with AT&T / Yahoo.

I have received email notifications this morning, both here and at WTT.
