last week Thursday, I was on my computer when it started freezing. It would take a few minutes to continue with what ever I was doing and freeze again. (I was on the internet) Some of the tings I had set like the quick start on my computer disappeared and I was using a p2p program that would start automatically. when it never did before. when i exited it -p2p- it restarted even when I wasn't connected to the internet. I ran my anti-virus program and nothing came back. it still froze a bit, but not as much as it did when I was connected. also, I tried restoring my computer and I wasn't able to, everytime I tried it said that it couldn't restore.
oh yeah I asked a friend what i should do and he told me to defragment it and get a spyware, which I am doing. I did the defragmenting but there wasn't anything different.

So did I do something bad or do I have a bug that my anti-virus cannot detect? :) :)

Using a P to P program is the best way to find the newest malware for your computer. The easist method to fix the problem is delete everything you have downloaded from the ptop from the day before the problem started up until today. Even a temporary file can do this to a computer so get rid of all temp files, cookies, temp internet files, etc. No guarantee but it should correct the problem. I never use P to P programs just for this kind of things that happen by using them.
