Simple thing to do in XP but ....... I am trying to change huge fonts on my daughter's HP laptop with Windows Vista. Tried a few things but does not work. Large fonts on desktop and all programs. Not sure if needs to be changed in HP or if this would be a Vista problem. Thanks!! :)

janny6,

What did you try? It sounds like a screen resolution issue, perhaps. Go to Start > Control Panel, and under Appearance and Personalization you should see a choice for adjust screen resolution. I have mine set to high. The lower the resolution, the larger the fonts and icons will be.

Thanks! That did the trick. I knew it was simple. It was set to the lowest (making font size huge). We must have been thinking lowest would be smallest. P.S. - I love this site. It is just want the "computer dummy" needs. :)
