Hi guys, good day. :)

Just wanna ask about these ranks. --> GeekU and Staff

What's the difference between those GeekU and Staff?

Are they promoted base on their performance here?

Thanks and God bless. :)

Hello SHENGTON...

Geek U is our malware removal training school. You may see members with the phrase "Geek in Training" under their avatars...these are members who are enrolled in Geek U. Upon graduating Geek U, the trainees become Trusted Helpers which is a Staff position. You may apply for Geek U.

On the tech side, we choose our staff by the members demonstration of ability. If any member demonstrates good ability with technical issues, they may be invited to attend Tech Academy. Upon graduating from Tech Academy, the member will be promoted to Trusted Tech...again, a Staff position. Tech Academy is by invitation only.

Post count has no bearing on who is chosen or who becomes staff...it's all based on ability. We look for quality rather than quantity in members postings.

Thanks Sir wannabe for the info that you gave.

I'm from the Philippines. Do I need to go there for training or just here in this site?

GeekU is an online training school. You don't have to go anywhere, just stay on this site. :)

While we do have a teacher from that area, I think he prefers the Antonov 225 as his preferred mode of transportation. :)

It is free training, you don't have to pay anything. That's why you are encouraged to help others with malware problems once you become staff. Taking something means giving something back in return. :)

The site Geeks to Go deals with some very serious situations , and some very difficult work , but it's nice to see the "Big Guy's" can muster up a joke ! :)
