Hi. I´m trying to fix my windows vista which won´t start after an update (urgghh). Anyway, I´m trying to fix it from the command prompt. However, I am denied access when I want to change a certain file.

From what I udnerstand, this is because I don´t have administrator access.

My question is How can I change into administrator account in the command prompt alone? I know this can be done if I´m in windows (but the problem is I can´t get there).

Thanks a lot

p.s. I got to the comman prompt in the first place by using the vista repair disc which does not require me to go to windows.
