I've been attacked yet again, this time it seems I have a more difficult culprit than last time. I cleaned some things up with HJT and ran ad aware in safe mode, but this one seems to be regenerating, and i'm not able to get rid of it. I have some "Aurora" popups which are causing the most problems. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I get a 16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem popup, says:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

If I select either close or ignore it repopulates over and over.

That is strange.

Click Start > Run > type cmd > OK

The command prompt will open.
Usually it does this in C:\Documents and settings\{username}
Type the command cd\ until only the C:\> is left

then type the following commands:
cd Windows
Nail.exe /Fullremove

1) Please download the Killbox.
Unzip it to the desktop but do NOT run it yet.

2) Then please reboot into Safe Mode by restarting your computer and pressing F8 as your computer is booting up. Then select the Safe Mode option.

3) Once in Safe Mode, please run Killbox.

4) Select "Delete on Reboot".

5) Open the text file with these instructions in it, and copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:

C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe 
C:\WINDOWS\Bolger.dll 
C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe 
C:\WINDOWS\system32\DrPmon.dll

6) Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose "Paste from Clipboard".

7) Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run TheKillbox, click here to download and run missingfilesetup.exe. Then try TheKillbox again..

Let the system reboot and post a new HijackThis log

I followed your instructions....but Killbox.exe was not up when I rebooted into safe mode. I tried it in normal mode, it rebooted, and said that it couldn't find C:/Windows/Nail.exe but then I run the HJT log and it's there again.......I hate this [bleep] Nail.exe..... Here is the new log....

Please follow these instructions to the letter and before you reboot.
Ask if anything is unclear or doesn't work.

Click Start > Run > type cmd > OK

Just the same as before.....Killbox is not there when I'm in safe mode. It's there in normal mode. Should I save it to a directory?

It would be helpful if you ran it from your systemdrive. I'm afraid it will not work running it online in safe mode.

Ok, here's the deal....when I do a Nail.exe /Fullremove it just goes back to another C:>/Windows prompt without doing anything. I went ahead and saved killbox to my c: drive and rebooted into safe mode....put the listed items into it and selected delete on reboot. When I rebooted it said it could not find Nail.exe to remove it. The new HJT log still has Nail.exe in it.

Please download RKFiles from here:
http://skads.org/special/rkfiles.zip
Unzip it to the desktop but please do NOT run it yet.

Next, please reboot your computer in safe mode and run RKFiles.bat. It may take a while. When it is finished a window should appear with a log.

Restart your computer in normal mode, and please post the contents of the logfile, which should be at c:\log.txt.
