HDMI cables to connect tv/pc

So, after looking I realized I did not have S video output on this computer, my other one I do. I am now using HDMI cable to hook my pc to my tv. Amazing! I love it. Downfall is, I can not just switch from TV to my monitor or monitor to my tv. I have to have one or the other unplugged from my PC and then I have to restart my PC in order for it to work on either or. Question is, can or anyway to just be able to switch from TV to monitor with out having to turn PC off and/or unplug one or the other?
