Hello,

I thought I would let others know that might be in a blonde situation that I was in on the understanding of using Winzip and extracting a file...

After downloading your Winzip program:

Double click on the file that you are wanting to open/unzip

If a box comes up stating: (Unzip, Run Winzip) click on RUN WINZIP...
Next box that pops up click on (CLASSIC VERSION) "bottom left of screen"

You will see files, "right click a file and choose SELECT ALL then click EXTRACT.

Then a box will come up stating the file and location of the file you want to open.
On the upper right of this box you will see a ARROR and a FOLDER, click on the FOLDER icon.

"This will create a new folder"

Name the folder similar to the porgram that you are extracting.

Then click on the EXTRACT button.

Close screen.

Go to where you have your file located, "documents, programs, etc."

Open it, "Double Click"

And there is you wonderful file <_<

Have a WONDERFUL DAY!

Wow thank you so much Resident Blonde! This is exactly the information I needed. Awesome - I was getting so frustrated and -knew- it would be a simple answer.

Do you think it'd be ok to use Genti's reg # and user ID? Or would they track me down and make me pay?

Thanks for the Info...
Another way to extract Zip files is to right click...
Winzip...
Extract to folder C\...
and this wil extract all the files from the zip file into a folder with an identical name in the same directory or desktop..
