Close out all open windows and disconnect the computer from any internet access.

Delete the below files/folders manually now:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\cache32_rtneg3\

Go to Start->Run and type in regedit and hit OK. Go to File->Export and save the registry somewhere as a backup. While in the Registry Editor, navigate to the following (fix whatever applies, if it's not there just skip it):

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors\ZepMon and delete Driver

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Print\Monitors\ZepMon and delete Driver

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Control\Print\Monitors\ZepMon and delete Driver

If any of the above registry keys are giving you problems deleting, right click on them and click on Permissions. Then click on the Advanced button. Make sure the first box (Inherit from parent...) is checked. Click OK and OK. Then try deleting the entry again. Once you're done, close the Registry Editor.

Reboot the computer now. Reconnect your internet access and post another FindIt’s log and HijackThis log.

OK, I also want a new mwav log. Let's see if that will show us anything new.

I am not sure what happened...but I haven't been able to get on geekstogo.com for almost 6 days...everytime I tried, I got the 'page not found' message. All other sites worked for me, except this one.

Anyway, I tried to delete those registry keys, but it wouldn't let me (even after going into permissions) It says 'Unable to delete all specified values'

Also, here are my 3 logs....Hijack This, Findit and mwav...Thanks again

Run KillBox and check the box that says 'End Explorer Shell While Killing File'. Next click on 'Delete on Reboot'. For each of the following files below, check the box that says 'Unregister .dll Before Deleting' if it's not grayed out. Copy and paste each of the following into KillBox (hitting the X button for each file - choose NO when it asks if you want to reboot):

C:\DOCUME~1\Anton\LOCALS~1\Temp\mwavscan.com
C:\DOCUME~1\Anton\LOCALS~1\Temp\kavss.exe
C:\Documents and Settings\Anton\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\qc3w7c3v.default\Cache\2198A0AAd01

The Temp folders should be cleaned out periodically as installation programs and hijack programs leave a lot of junk there. Download CleanUp! http://cleanup.stevengould.org/ (Alternate Link if main link don't work - http://www.greyknigh...spy/Cleanup.exe ) and install it. Run CleanUp! and click on CleanUp! button. When it asks you if you want to logoff, click on Yes.

Go to Start->Run and type in regedt32 and hit OK. Go to File->Export and save the registry somewhere as a backup. While in the Registry Editor, navigate to the following (fix whatever applies, if it's not there just skip it):

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors\ and delete ZepMon

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Print\Monitors\ and delete ZepMon

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Control\Print\Monitors\ and delete ZepMon

If any of the above registry keys are giving you problems deleting, right click on them and click on Permissions. Then click on the Advanced button. Make sure the first box (Inherit from parent...) is checked. Click OK and OK. Then try deleting the entry again. Once you're done, close the Registry Editor.

Restart and post a new HijackThis and FindIt's log.

Perfect :tazz:

You may uninstall Ewido Security Suite now.

Your log is clean.

Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. Restart your computer and uncheck that same box to enable system restore.

Make sure to update Windows and Internet Explorer at http://v5.windowsupd...t.aspx?ln=en-us.

To help prevent future spyware installations/infections, please read the Anti-Spyware Tutorial and use the tools provided.

Are there any problems now? If not, you should be set to go.

Thankyou very much for your help...I really appreciate it.

Everything seems to be running OK, except that program keeps popping up after I restart...it only pops up for 1 second and then goes away...I'm not sure if it's bad or not....here is the pic

Must be quick with the Print Screen key press there :tazz:

I think I know the problem here. It's normal.

If I remember correctly, you can check and fix this entry in HijackThis:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HP Component Manager] "C:\Program Files\HP\hpcoretech\hpcmpmgr.exe"

If that doesn't do it, fix these also:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HP Software Update] "C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Software Update\HPWuSchd.exe"
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HPDJ Taskbar Utility] C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3\hpztsb09.exe

Restart and see if it's still doing that.

Any other problems now?
