Has anyone had issues with Sophos blocking internet explorer?
Is there a fix or something I can do?

can you connect to the internet with any of your other programs and update them..like ad-aware or spywareblaster or any other malware tools you have...

are you saying you don't have any antivirus or spyware tools on the computer at all

sophos is the WORST program possible....it's virtually useless....which package do you have? the one with the firewall? if so can you try turning the firewall off? if you haven't paid for sophos yet i'd remove it whenever you get the chance (if you can....it's almost as hard to uninstall as norton) and install something usable....like AVG or Avast.... normally i don't suggest getting rid of things as such but i've got sophos here at work (on 100 computers) and it's horrible

I have it on our company computers and the security convinced everyone to go with Sophos.
After upgrade, several computers IE7 won't work but I found a solution of downgrading to IE6 which seems to do the
trick. My issue is some people are able to use IE7 with no problem and I wonder if there's a security issue.
