Hi, I had to reformat my computer because I felt it was going quite slow even after cleaning the computer of malware. However, when I placed the windows cd in and the blue reformatting screen pops up it freezes on 62% and nothing happens afterwards. I dont' know what to do from here because I never had this problem before. Any help with running through the reformatting process problem free will be appreciated. I was very patient and waited for over 2 hours and still stuck at 62% there is something wrong with my computer perhaps?

There could be a problem with the hard disk itself. Possibly that what caused it to run slow in the first place. Please write down the make and model of your hard disk and we will give you a link to a test tool.
