This is a little tough to explain but I will be as specific as possible. Toshiba satellite, vista basic. First thing I notice on the desktop if you want to open a program you have to check in a little icon box on the icon. When you open a browser you have to manually highlight the browser to control it, open it, minimize it, close it. You have to left click your control, you can not double click the touch pad to control. It sometimes acts like a stuck button where you can move the whole item around the screen without trying to drag. I tried downloading another driver for the touchpad and that didn't work. After working with this a few days I have learned how to control it, but it seems you have to manually click the buttons to work anything. the touchpad tap button seldom works. I have not tried an external mouse to see how it reacts.
