Hi there, i have 2gb of pc5300 RAM, i understand that if i get pc6400 with this current ram, both sets will go to 667mhz, so would it be worth just getting another 2gb of pc5300 instead as cheaper and would do the same job?

Thanks, wonde rif im right?

p.s my pc build from last year you guys helped with is going strong!

That is correct, but do you really need more than 2GBs?

There is no reason to get another 2 gb of RAM for Windows XP unless you have the 64 bit Edition. 32 bit Windows will not be able to take advantage of the extra RAM.
